Electronic Consent and Records

An online loan process can present information and agreements electronically. This page explains what to consider when reviewing electronic records and communications. Read the actual consent language presented to you during an application before agreeing to electronic delivery.

1. Electronic Communications

Electronic records can include notices, disclosures, an agreement, and messages related to an application or account. Review each item when it is presented. A summary on this page does not identify every record that may be delivered in a particular transaction.

The online application is available at any time. Availability of the application does not mean an offer has been made or that a submitted agreement has been accepted. Follow the confirmations displayed during the process and keep copies of documents that matter to you.

If you do not understand a disclosure, pause before signing. The Loan Agreement with the lender named in it governs any loan you accept. This page concerns the electronic format of communications, not the loan's cost or payment obligations.

2. Reviewing and Keeping Records

Before agreeing to receive a document electronically, make sure you can open and read it on the device you intend to use. Consider whether you can save or print a copy for your records. If a document does not display correctly, ask for help before accepting it.

Keep your Loan Agreement, any electronic consent confirmation, and important account communications where you can find them later. Review the lender name, payment schedule, and other terms in the agreement itself. Do not rely only on a short description on a preceding screen.

Your ability to access a record later may depend on your own device, software, and account access. This page does not prescribe a specific device or software configuration. Check the instructions presented with the consent request for any applicable system requirements.

3. Paper Copies and Questions

If you need a paper copy of an electronic record, ask RISE Credit customer support how to request one for your account. Ask whether any conditions apply before assuming a paper copy has been ordered or sent.

Identify the document you need when contacting support. Keep a record of your request and the response. For a general explanation of the online process, review how to apply; the application itself presents the notices relevant to your decision.

Paper copies and electronic copies should be reviewed for the same substantive terms. The medium does not change the payment obligations in an accepted Loan Agreement. If you believe a document is missing or incomplete, resolve that question before proceeding.

4. Withdrawing Electronic Consent

If you want to ask about withdrawing consent to electronic communications, contact support for instructions that apply to your account. Ask what effect a change would have on future communications or on an application in progress. Do not assume that closing a page or ignoring a message changes a consent already given.

Read the consent presented during the process for its scope and any method of withdrawal. Keep the confirmation of a change you request. This page does not set a separate withdrawal procedure or promise that every communication can be delivered in another format.

A change in communication method is separate from a change in your loan terms. The Loan Agreement remains the source for the terms of a loan with the lender named in it.

5. Contact Information and Access

An email address is among the requirements to apply. Use an address you can access and check for information about an application or account. If your contact details change, ask support how to update them.

Before opening a link in a message, confirm that you are using the official risecredit.com site. Do not enter personal information on a page whose address you cannot verify. Read about imitation lender websites for general ways to check a suspicious message or site.

Questions about privacy and what information is involved in an application belong on the privacy policy and data collection page. Questions about a particular electronic record can be directed to support.

If you share a device or email account, think about how you will keep loan records accessible to you. The ability to save and revisit a document matters after the initial application, especially when you need to check a payment date or discuss a question with support.
